Honda Dax ST70 6V year 1974
Project:
Conversion/restoration of a ST70 6Volt Dax.
The 70 Dax was throttled to 49cc by the previous owner and registered.
We completely dismantled this vehicle and then extensively restored it.
The original candy gold paintwork, which is still in very good condition, was retained.
All silver and black painted parts were repainted in the original color.
Chrome and aluminum parts were re-chromed, polished or replaced if necessary.
The seat got a fresh deluxe cover with new chrome rivets.
Plus a set of matching original stickers and new rubber parts.
The engine was slightly optimized for the new owner and was fitted with an oil cooler.
A new 6V Honda exhaust system and Keihin PC20 carburettor provide sufficient power.
The electrical system was completely overhauled and parts were replaced.
New indicators, a US taillight with the matching chrome holder make the look perfect.
